“This selected bibliography has been produced by the New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse to provide a guide to research literature on working with perpetrators. The bibliography is divided into three main sections.
The first section addresses the question: “Do perpetrator programmes work?” This section includes literature on the issues of retention, recidivism and outcomes.
The “Intervention issues” section includes research on engagement and typologies.
The third section includes literature describing coordinated community responses to support perpetrator programmes. A brief list of resources and websites completes the bibliography.”
