My research interest is in facilitating inquiry with groups as they initiate, review or rethink their interventions in their work in community or place. Our common practice has been to work with “unlike minds” – bringing together people from across sectors and knowledge and practice fields, but in place, to uncover a deeper level of stewardship of community, place and economy, and a sense of citizenship with sustained agency. A common element of our work has involved working concurrently at several scales – local, regional and national; and in some cases, global-local. I am particularly drawn to connect with this community of practitioners, many of whom I know or have worked with (this Is New Zealand) but with whom I seek to cultivate a deeper attention on practice and praxis.
