Iain Matheson is a qualified social sector evaluator, and experienced researcher. For over 10 years, Iain has been working independently with social sector organisations to help them achieve their key outcomes in relation to children, young people, young adults, vulnerable families, students, claimants or patients. Specialising in working with government departments and not-for-profits, much of Iain’s work is on the interface between management consulting and, monitoring/research/evaluation. He has a management background in government (both national and local) spanning operations, policy, regulation, inter-agency planning, service development and quality assurance.
Iain recently completed his Doctor of Education with the University of Otago College of Education; his name and thesis title was placed on the University of Otago Humanities Divisional List of Exceptional Doctoral Theses. He also has postgraduate qualifications in social work, child protection, and social services management.
