Dorothea Greiling is a full professor at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria and head of the Institute for Management Accounting at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration. In 1990 Dorothea Greiling graduated from Mannheim University, Germany, where she also completed her doctorate in 1995. Prior to the JKU Dorothea Greiling was employed by the University of Mannheim (as a lecturer and a postdoc researcher) and the Protestant University in Darmstadt (Germany). In Darmstadt she was responsible for an Executive MBA for social service organisations. Dorothea Greiling is a member of the Senate of the JKU and also of numerous other university committees. Since her teens Dorothea has been active in voluntary organisations. Currently she spends her sabbatical at the University of Adelaide. Her research focuses on accounting, accountability and performance management mainly in the public and the third sector.
