Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga in partnership with Tauranga Moana Iwi announces the 2013 Annual Research Symposium; Fostering Te Pā Harakeke; Healthy and Prosperous Families of Mana

25th – 26th November 2013, Trinity Wharf, Tauranga.
The symposium is a national forum to discuss and examine fostering te pā harakeke – understanding, achieving and maintaining healthy and prosperous families of mana and the lessons this may hold for New Zealand families overall.
Speakers include: Tauranga Moana Iwi researchers, Mereana Pitman, Professor Linda Tuhiwai Smith, Distinguished Professor Graham Smith, Associate Professor Te Kani Kingi, Associate Professor Leonie Pihama, Professor Darrin Hodgetts and Mr Mohi Rua, Professor Angus Macfarlane, Associate Professor Paul Kayes and Dr Kepa Morgan.
