Summary | Whakaturanga: The Code Of Practice describes optimum practices in community research for the Tangata Whenua, Community and Voluntary Sector Research Centre. It is written for the researcher, whether with a tertiary, community or Iwi organisation. The purpose is to provide a set of benchmark principles and standards by which researchers may measure their work. It represents what research and community advocates from a number of organisations consider to be important when “doing research”.
